This is a table wine from vineyards in the Lisboa region (near Lisbon) of northern Portugal. Portugal has DOC, IGP, and table wine classifications for their wines.
The bottle is in the shape of a flask, reminiscent of Matuse Rosé, a popular Portuguese wine from decades past.
CWF reviewed the 2022 vintage, which was a Rosé; this one is a Red blend.
Portugal uses their own name for grapes, and many of the country’s grapes are indigenous and seldom found elsewhere. They do not mention the blend for the Roseta Lisboa Vinho Tinto 2024.
The alcohol content is 13.5%.
The Roseta Lisboa Vinho Tinto 2024 Tasting Notes
The color is a dark, barely see-through, cranberry red. The nose is ripe, with dark and red berry notes, and a hint of spice. The Roseta Lisboa Vinho Tinto 2024 is an uncomplicated Red wine that east to sip.
This Vihno Tinto (red wine) tastes like blackberry, black pepper, a little spice, herbs, and plums. Simple and easy.
The tannins are in the mix but do not bite, and the acidity does its job.
