Le Beau Sud Sauvignon Blanc-Vermentino 2025

Le Beau Sud translates to the Beautiful South. The vineyards are in the IGP Pays D’OC region of the Languedoc growing region of France. The Languedoc is France:s largest wine district, but probably gets the littlest notoriety.

The Pays D’OC region is in the Languedoc-Roussillon, near the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Ocean, this area is known for value wines.

Most folks are familiar with Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino may be a new grape. It is a grape mostly grown in Sardinia and is not unlike Sauvignon Blanc. It is a light bodies white wine, but can be complex.

As a 2025 vintage, this is a young wine with little aging potential as is best consumed sooner than later.

The Sauvignon Blanc/Vermentino combination make for a great summer sipper, Trader Joe’s also has the Côté Mas Sauvignon Blanc Vermentino 2024 available which is also sourced from the same locale.

This is a 1 liter bottle, as opposed to the typical 750 ml bottle and the alcohol content is a mild 12%.
