The Story
Lapis Luna is Latin for the Stone and Moon. It is a brand from Warroom Ventures who also now own Boont Doon and Toad Hollow, among others.
This is a brand started in 1999 and is known for their labels which a colorized version of 400 year old (1624 to be exact) engraving, this bottle will catch your eye. The back label is also of interest. It is a drawing of a woman struggling to lit a large flaming heart. Written in the heart is, Those who do not move, do not feel their chains.
The grapes for the Lapis Luna North Coast Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is sourced from vineyards in the North Coast AVA which is Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake County.
This Sauvignon is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. Each parcel. is fermented separately using strains of yeast specifically chosen for that lot.
Their entire tasting notes are fresh, tropical, crisp, and delicious, which sound good to me.
The alcohol content is 13.5%.

The color is lmost clear with a golden glow. The nose is tropical fruit, peach and pear, melon, lime, apple, and soft spice, while lightly floral. The Lapis Luna North Coast Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is crisp, with bold, tasty, flavor.
This Sauvignon Blanc tastes like dried pineapple, lemon/lime (not sweet) Anjou Pear, juicy peach, crisp apple, and stone fruit, a very nice combination.
The acidity is balanced and gives this wine decent length.
