The Story

Daccordo di Dacci Rosé Extra Dry Prosecco 2025

This is a vintage dated (2025) Rosé Prosecco from 47 AD (named after the Roman road that ran near-by, they are a 3rd generation run winery that is certified both organic and vegan.

Glera, the grape used in Prosecco, is a White grape and can’t be made into a Rosé so 10 to 15% of the wine is Pinot Nero (Italian for Pinot Noir). Pinot Nero has red skin and can e used for Rosé.

Vintage dated Prosecco is rare in this price range, they only do a vintage Bubbly in years where the quality in the vineyards was exceptional high.

Two-thirds of the Prosecco sold in Italy is Extra Dry or a little sweet. The acidity in Prosecco can cancel the sweetness in the wine making the flavor more rounded than sweet.

This is a Bubbly that often sells for over $20 and has features seldom seen in value Prosecco.

The bottle looks like cut glass and the neck wrapper is a sparkly silver foil.

The alcohol Content is 11%.

The color is a pale Barbi pink and the bubbles are very active. The nose is melon, spice, pear, apple, cherry hard candy, and lightly floral. The Daccordo di Dacci Rosé Extra Dry Prosecco 2025 has ripe, but balanced fruit and citrus flavors, and is slightly sweet.

This Rosé Prosecco tastes like lime, green apple, peach, melon, a slap of spice, and slightly candied cherry. The flavors are balanced and this Bubbly has a nice finish.

The acidity is well-controlled, this is a solid Prosecco.
