The Scarlet Path Old Vine Lodi Zinfandel 2022 is a $7.99 Trader Joe’s exclusive. It was made for Aldi by a branch of a large, family-owned, organic winery located in the Monterey AVA of California’s Central Coast. Since this isn’t an organic wine, it seems they purchased the grapes from local Lodu growers.
The Scarley Path is a wine available with each vintage. Here is a link to our review of the 2021 vintage. The 2021 vintage had a red satin-lie (fuzzy) label with a large S. The 2022 has a new label that shows a woman walking through the vineyard holding a long red scarf that forms an S.
