19 Crimes The Wolfman Red Blend NV
This is a Red blend from Treasury Wine Estates, a high-end wine company.
The 19 Crimes in question are the 19 offences that could get you sent to the Australian Penal Colony.
The Wolfman Red is licensed from Universal City Studios and uses glow-in-the-dark labels and animated labels.
This looks to be the same Red Blend as the typical 19 Crimes wines, so this isn’t a completely Halloween wine.
It is a fun wine, and it is an easy-to-sip wine.
Just look out for the FULL MOON!

Yep, it's Domain Dave again, and this is our Halloween wine extravaganza of sorts. This is a wine I got a local wine shop about 10 bucks. It's a brand that's you see everywhere. It's uh but this is their special limited edition Halloween, which is actually licensed from Universal City Studios. And this is the 19 Crimes, the Wolfman Red Blend. Non-vintage. Um since it's licensed, it actually has kind of a really nice glow-in-the-dark label. Uh and the back label, you you get your phone out, and your Wolfman in the front comes to life, and he's, you know, doing Wolfman things. Which is a party one. That's what you get. This whole this whole wine that most of the money, I think, is going into making it extravag the label an extravaganza. The wine is okay. The wine's not bad at all. I'm gonna take a sip. Nineteen Crimes is mostly from Australia. I mean, there's the Snoop Dogg and the Martha Stewart wines, which are from California. I think some of those are actually vintage data. This is non-vintage. They don't um tell you what the blend is, but I'm I'm pretty sure there's Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiri's, which is Australian for Syrah. And I'm not sure what else is in there, but it's just a juicy red blend. Um, maybe some good. They actually tell you that they're not using oak barrels, which they make millions of these bottles. So to make millions of bottles of wine, you'd have to do you have to chop down a force for the barrels. So they use wood chips. Um they they um toast them to whatever you want, chop the wood up, throw it in there, and then the c the the wood chips give off flavoring to the wine. It's not the classiest way, you know. You wouldn't see burgundy wines do that, but uh, they're back. Uh but um you know for a ten dollar party wine, you know, what the heck? They drink smooth. That uh there's some chocolate in there, there's some uh blackberry, there's some um I'm getting black cherry plums and some spice, maybe some cranberry, some tart cranberry. Just a really nice drinking wine. It's not the greatest uh red blend in the history of the world, but um it might be the best uh red blend that has a glomodark label and a and that comes to life when you use your phone. You know, that that all that does matter. Take another sip. The Wolfman is new this year. Last year, I think it was the mummy. Yeah, I mean, it's a perfectly good sipping wine. This is a party wine. It sips great. It's got enough rough edges just to give it structure. Got enough fruit to make you want to take another sip. You know, it's not gonna be um it's not gonna be a wine you go back to. Well, maybe it might be. But it's it's not it it's a wine that tastes good and it's fun. And if you want fun in your wine, well, this one will do it. So there you go. 19 crimes is from southeastern Australia. The 19 crimes refers to the 19 different offenses that got you deported from England to Australia, and they're all big on the bottles. And this is a wine from Treasury Wine Estates. Treasury Wine Estates has um has Stag Leap and a bunch of really fancy wines to go along with this uh kind of fun $10 wine. Uh they do the Grange, they do a bunch of really high-end wines. Oh, we're back again. They thought they left. But um uh oh. Um something's going on. Here's someone walking in the forest. I don't know what's going on. So anyway, um so this is 19 Crimes, the Wolfman Red Blend. Uh the there's a Cabernet and maybe uh a uh a Chardonnay this year because they change it around every year. It looks good, it's fun if you're having a party. 10 bucks isn't the worst thing to be spending. And um, and it and it drinks well. For I'm not a fan of like Christmas wines and that type of thing, because why would you make a wine for one time of the year? And they don't really make this wine for one time of the year. I believe this is just their regular 19 crimes red blend with a fancy label, otherwise it's it's the same wine they always make. Well, that makes more sense. But I always look, you know, what's what's why are they making a Christmas wine that you only sell one month a year? They must not really care what's in the bottle, it's all the label. But here it's it's fine. It drinks, it drinks. This is a patio powder. This is a uh Halloween party. Uh you're gonna show, you're gonna put it under a light and show everybody how it glows and do all that stuff. Everybody's gonna give their phone out and have a good time, and you're gonna pour this into a red cup or something. That's great. So, adios, domain dave, keep it cheap. Well, that's so much for uh Halloween extravaganza. Uh should have waited for the full moon. Ow. So adios, keep it cheap. I got a uh got a fancy red blend coming up in a couple days. We'll hit that one, and then we'll we're gonna go on to high ender stuff, high end stuff in November, December, hopefully. Uh hopefully we can get it fairly cheap because uh the the the time is right for getting bargains. So, adios, keep it cheap, I'll be talking everybody later. Bye bye. Domain Dave, this is 19 Crimes, the Wolfman Red Blend. It glows in the dark.
