Hey
welcome.
Domain
Dave
here
for
cheapwinefinder.com.
As
always,
and
uh
today
we've
got
another
value-priced
wine
um
Trader
Joe's
again,
$9.99.
This
is
a
wine
or
a
brand
of
wines
that
uh
are
exclusive
to
Trader
Joe's
that
came
out
a
few
months
ago,
but
I
missed
this
one.
I
got
the
Chardonnay
and
the
Pinot
Noir,
but
this
is
the
Compass
Bridge
Sonoma
Cabernet
Sauvignon
2023.
10
bucks.
Um
I
did
some
checking
around
and
I
went
to
the
California
Wine
Kooler
Registry,
which
is
the
organization
in
California
that
approves
labels.
And
the
winery
of
record
on
this
one
is
uh
Francisford
Copla
Winery,
which
is
owned
by
um
um
the
people
behind
Gnarly
Head.
Uh
so
it's
um
not
for
uh
not
copla
anymore.
Um
let
me
take
a
sip.
But
normally
we
know
nothing
about
these
wines,
and
now
we
know
it's
grapes
are
from
Sonoma,
a
large
place,
but
a
good
place.
And
uh
Coplo
Winery
had
something
to
do
with
it.
Uh
so
that
is
you
know
um
very
good.
And
uh
the
the
people
behind
Narley
Hood
is
uh
delicato.
They're
a
good
um
they're
a
good
winery,
they
they
they
do
they
kind
of
specialize
in
more
affordable
wines,
but
they
do
have
top-end
wines,
and
then
the
whole
wines
are
good.
So
to
have
them
be
the
makers
of
this
wine,
and
and
according
to
the
the
California
Coola
Registry,
um
Copla
are
the
ones
that
are
in
charge
of
this
one.
That's
all
good
to
know.
So,
how
is
the
wine?
It's
good.
I
mean,
they
always
are
nowadays.
Wine
making
has
gotten
very,
very
competent.
The
wines
you
don't
like
are
typically
wines
that
are
not
your
style.
I
mean,
sometimes
they're
boring,
but
that's
really
not.
I
don't
like
a
boring
wine,
or
just
I
don't
have
fun
drinking
it.
This
one's
nice.
This
has
got
some
blackberry,
cease,
uh,
plum,
spice,
tart
cranberry,
maybe
a
little
hint
of
chocolate.
It
might
have
they
they
didn't
give
us
any
tasting
notes
or
production
notes,
but
I
would
imagine
it
has
some
sort
of
oak
management
of
some
sort.
Um
is
it
California
Cabernet
Sauvignon?
You
usually
expect
that,
and
this
tastes
like
a
classic
California
Cabernet.
So
there's
a
little
bit
of
maybe
a
little
bit
of
bitter
chocolate
in
there.
I
I
said
caramel.
Little
hints.
Good
old
spice,
maybe.
I'm
gonna
take
another
sip.
The
Compass
Bridge
Sonoma
Calve
uh
Cabernet
Calve
Cabernet
Sauvignon
2023
gives
you
a
pretty
good
California
Cabernet
Sauvignon
experience.
It's
that
wine
and
it's
10
bucks.
It's
made
by
um
a
portion,
some
somehow
copla
is
involved,
and
copla
has
a
history
of
making
good
wine,
even
though
Delicado
now
owns
them.
They
didn't
forget
how
to
make
wine.
It's
um
it's
good.
Like
I
said,
you
don't
always
know
who
made
the
wine
or
where
the
grapes
are
from,
and
here
we
know
that
we
don't
have
much
behind
that.
There's
all
sorts
of
variables
that
could
have
happened,
but
there's
a
certain
quality
there
that
is
comes
from
Sonoma
Grapes
and
comes
from
uh
Coppola
Winery.
That
mean
they
didn't
exactly
put
their
name
in
the
label,
but
they
did
on
the
California
wine
cola
registry.
There,
there
they
are.
So
that
is
a
we
got
a
couple
uh
couple
signatories
of
quality
on
here,
and
it
tastes
good.
I
can't
complain.
I
mean
this
is
um
smooth,
rich,
flavorful.
It's
got
a
little
bit
of
personality.
It's
a
nice
wine,
and
it's
ten
bucks.
I
kind
of
like
it.
I
mean,
um
it
drinks
better
than
a
yeah,
it
drinks
a
few
bucks
more
than
what
you're
paying
for.
And
in
this
day
and
age,
getting
a
little
something
something
is
a
good
thing.
And
like
I'm
a
little
late
on
this
one.
I
think
they
came
out
maybe
last
fall.
But
I
gotta
say,
it's
a
good
one.
I
like
this
compass
bridge,
Sonoma,
Gabonet
Sauvignon.
I
say
give
it
a
try.
So
adios
keep
it
cheap,
domain
Dave,
cheapwinefinder.com.
And
I'll
be
talking
to
you
a
couple
days,
like
always.
We
will
have
a
bunch
of
wines.
I
think
I'm
gonna
see
if
I
can
find
some
uh
some
roses
and
stuff
that
are
a
little
more
summary,
and
I'll
I'll
be
talking
to
you.
Adios,
bye-bye.
