Daryl Groom was the chief winemaker for Penfolds where he was in charge of the production of The Grange, the #1 wine from Australia.
His son Colby had 2 open heart surgeries before he was ten.
He asked his Dad when he was 12 if there wasn't something they could do so no kid had to go through what he went through.
The answer was Colby Red and 12 years after $1,700,000 has been donated to various heart foundations.
