It took them a few years to get it right, but in 1979 they bottled the first Marlborough Sauv Blanc!
The Brancott Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2020-1st Marlborough Sauv Blanc is a direct descendent of the first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
$12 list price, I found it for $6.99 on sale, and it is a huge bargain at either price.
