Bear Bros California Chardonnay 2024
Another wine in Aldi’s Bear Bros line of California wines.
All well under ten bucks.
His wine was not my favorite, but you may have a different opinion.
I thought it had too much vanilla, but you may think it was just right.

Hey,
Domain
Dave,
cheapwinefiner.com.
Another
wine
review
coming
to
you.
Like
always,
like
we
always
do.
Uh
today
we've
got
an
Aldi
one.
It
was
$7.55,
which
is
a
little
bit
of
a
different
kind
of
price
tag
for
them.
Um,
but
there
you
go.
It's
the
uh
Bear
Bros
Brothers
California
Chardonnay
2024.
Um
they
have
a
whole
line
of
uh
bear
wines.
Um
Bear
is
the
national
or
the
whole
state
animal
for
California,
and
um
Aldi
owns
the
copyright
and
the
name,
so
they
have
had
different
uh
people
uh
making
their
wines
for
him
in
the
past.
So
here
we
go.
We're
gonna
take
a
sip
of
this
one
here.
And
um
it's
just
a
regular
Chardonnay.
They
don't
have
much
about
it.
There's
the
back
label
mentions
spice
and
vanilla.
Um
which
is
fine.
Um
and
this
and
it's
actually
got
a
little
bit
for
my
taste,
it's
got
a
little
bit
too
much
vanilla.
It's
um
it
kind
of
overpowers
the
fruit
flavors,
and
it
has
fruit
flavors.
It
has
it
has
lemon
and
it
has
apple,
it's
got
peach
and
pear,
it
has
spice,
but
it's
just
a
little
bit
that
a
little
bit
too
much
uh
vanilla
for
my
taste.
But
if
you
were
to
have
a
cheese
tray
or
a
little
bit
of
small
bites
to
go
on
with,
and
potato
chips
would
even
do
it.
I'm
gonna
take
another
sip.
That
too
much
vanilla
would
go
away.
Now,
uh,
as
the
wine
opens
up,
the
vanilla
isn't
as
pronounced,
but
it's
a
little
bit
um
a
little
bit
different.
I
mean,
I
uh
it
it
does
kind
of
take
equal
um
equal
billing
with
the
fruit
and
citrus
flavors,
which
you
know,
vanilla
is
not
something
that
you
normally
catch
with
that,
and
it's
not
butter,
it's
vanilla.
And
it's
not
a
bad
vanilla,
it's
like
a
vanilla
cream,
vanilla
pudding
type
of
thing,
that
kind
of
flavor,
but
in
a
wine
form.
So,
um
so
there
we
go.
I
mean,
I've
pretty
much
said
everything
about
it
right
off
the
bat.
It's
a
um
for
$7.55,
it's
perfectly
fine,
but
I
would
suggest
unless
you
unless
you
take
a
taste
of
it,
which
you
could
very,
you
know,
and
go,
I
like
it,
because
one
thing
I've
learned
over
the
years,
for
every
wine
I
love,
there's
somebody
pouring
it
down
the
sink,
and
every
wine
I
hate,
there's
somebody
buying
a
case
of
it.
And
that's
just
the
way
it
is
with
everybody.
There's
nothing
you
can
do
about
it.
People
all
this
is
personal
preference.
And
I
don't,
um,
and
I'm
saying
this
one's
a
little
bit
out
of
step
uh
with
the
flavoring
because
vanilla
is
a
oak
flavoring,
and
it's
something
that
should
be
a
little
bit
more
controlled,
in
my
opinion.
And
like
I
said,
as
I
keep
sipping
it,
that
vanilla
fades
away.
So,
you
know,
um,
as
it
opens
up,
it's
not
it's
not
bad,
but
I
like
a
little
more
crisp
crispness
and
my
crisp
crispness
in
the
fruit,
a
little
bit
more
uh,
you
know,
maybe
a
little
more
grapefruit,
maybe
some
lemon
lime
going
on
with
the
peaches
and
pears
and
apples
and
those
type
of
things
you
get
from
Chardonnay.
And
um,
I
still
have
a
little
bit
not
my
taste,
but
it's
not
a
bad
wine,
and
at
755
it's
perfectly
fine.
I
think
the
Bear
Brothers,
like
uh
a
couple
of
the
others,
the
Savion
Blancs
and
a
couple
other
ones
I
preferred.
But
that's
just
like
I
said,
personal
preference.
Is
it
a
bad
wine?
No.
Is
it
a
drinkable
wine
wine?
Very
much
so.
It's
just
not
it's
just
not
my
style
of
wine.
So
there
you
go.
This
is
domain
Dave
Cheapwinefighter.com.
This
is
the
Bear
Bros,
Bear
Brothers
California
Chardonnay
2024
from
um
Aldi.
Aldi
Aldi
owns
the
copyright
of
the
title,
and
they've
had
different
people
making
their
wines
over
the
years.
So
every
vintage,
you
might
want
to
go
back
and
check
them
out
because
it
might
be
a
completely
different
wine.
And
I
liked
it,
but
not
a
hundred
percent.
I
mean,
at
the
price,
it's
perfectly
fine.
I
liked
it
at
$7.55,
but
you
know,
I
at
if
it
were
ten
dollars,
I'd
buy
something
else.
But
that's
another
story,
and
that's
another
review.
So
adios
keep
it
cheap.
This

Bear

California
Chardonnay
2024.
$7.55
from
Chardonnay.
Close,
but
not
quite,
in
my
opinion.
But
give
it
a
try.
You
might
uh
you
might
find
something
interesting
in
it.
So
adios,
bye
bye,
keep
it
cheap.
