It is an Estate wine produced by Vina del Pedregal (VDP), a family-owned winery located in Loncomilla Valley in the Maule Valley of Chile. They were founded in 1825 with vines imported from Bordeaux, France.
Kidia is a type of orcid. VDP owns six good-sized vineyards in the Loncomilla River Valley, so while the Kidia Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2023 the grapes could come from multiple vineyards. The Pacific Ocean is to the west and the Andes are to the east.

The color is very pale sunshine yellow. The nose is melon, lemon, green apple, peach, pear, lime, and tropical fruit, with a floral edge, the classic Sauvignon Blanc noes. The Kidia Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is lightly spicey with a rich stew of citrus, fruit, and tropical fruit flavors.
This Sauvignon Blanc tastes like tropical fruit, a solid slap of tasty spice, lime, lemon, and tart apple. The mid-palate shows peach and pear, a hint of melon, dried pineapple, and guava.
The acidity is well-balanced and this wine has plenty of structure to carry all the flavors.
