Giardino is a brand produced especially for Trader Joe’s by 8 Vini Wine merchants. They produce multiple wines from all regions of Italy.
The Giardino Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie Vivace 2024 is sourced from the Delle Venezie growing region of northeast Italy. The vineyards are closer to Austria and Slovenia than Rome.
Prosecco is from the southwest side of this region.
This is 100% Pinot Grigio, which is the main White grape. Alto Adige in the North-central section is where the expensive Pinot Grigio wines are produced. The Pinot Grigio wines from other parts tend to be affordable, and in the case of Giardino Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie Vivace 2024, at $5.99. very affordable.

The color is almost clear with a touch of gold and silver. The nose is lemon-lime, candy spice, peach, pear, and a little melon. The Giardino Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie Vivace 2024 is light and tasty with a little kick from the bubbles.
The Sparkling Pinot Grigio tastes like peach and pear, lemon hard candy (not sweet), nectarine, and a little tropical fruit.
The acidity is nicely balanced. I can recall a bargain Pinot Grigio from the past that could take the enamel off your teeth, not here, this wine is balanced.
