The color is a clear, pale wheat yellow. The nose is delicate lemon, green apple, honey, lime, grapefruit, some vanilla creme (creme is French for cream, I am just being fancy), peach, coconut, and faint pineapple. The no sugar and the low alcohol did not hinder the aromas.

The Don’t Mind If I Do Sauvignon Blanc 2020 is a medium to light-bodied Sauv Blanc with balanced flavors and well-controlled acidity. It starts with light pear, lemon curd, a salty, slightly nutty sensation, green apple, melon, a touch of cream, a light spice. As you can see, the no sugar and low-calories didn’t stop the wine from having flavor.

This is a lean Sauvignon Blanc, and the flavors are subdued; Sauv Blancs can sometimes be a “shouty” wine. If you are a fan of New Zealand wines, this may not be your style. While it is a quieter Sauvignon Blanc, it is still a rather tasty wine.
