The 19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac, full name 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted, is a wine I found for $11.99. The bottle has a scan code (available March 10) for Snoops’s interactive tribute to Tupac.

The Story

19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac

The 19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac is a limited edition wine. The official release is March 10th; it is in the stores now. I am not sure if this is a new wine or simply a special label. Snoop’s Cali Red is not currently shown on the 19 Crimes website, and they never give much detail on their wines. They have talking labels and glow-in-the-dark monsters, but not production notes.

CWF reviewed the 2021 vintage before they switched to non-vintage wines. That wine was 65% Petit Sirah, 30% Zinfandel, and 5% Merlot.

This is Snoop Dogg’s tribute to Tupac on the 30th anniversary of his death. At the time of this review, that information has not been made available.

In 2024, 19 Crimes sold 1.5 million cases of wine, which is 13 bottles to a case. Snoop’s Cali Red is one of the more popular wines in the portfolio.

Most 19 Crimes wines are from Australia, but the Snoop and Martha Stewart wines are from California in origin.

The alcohol content 13.5%.

The 19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac Tasting Notes

The color is an almost opaque black cherry red. The nose is sweet red berries. A little spice, a hint of vanilla, blueberry, and orchids. The 19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac is smooth and tasty.

This Red Blend tastes like blueberry, sharp spice, herbs, plum, a little cassis, and pomegranate. Not overly complicated, but pleasing on the palate.

This is a wine with sweet tannins and balanced acidity.

The Summary

  • The 19 Crimes Cali Red-Snoop & Tupac is a well-priced, easy-to-sip wine.
  • It is on the ripe-fruit side, but still balanced.
  • Pour some out for Tupac and remember.
