The Rosa Dell’Olmo Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 Tasting Notes
The color is a see-thorough plum red. The nose is subtle, there are ripe red berries, a little spice, watermelon, and herbs, with a floral edge. The Rosa Dell’Olmo Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 is medium-bodied and rather chewy, very interesting.
The Nebbiolo tastes like ripe, fresh blackberry, exotic spice, plum, and strawberry. The mid-palate brings faint orange zest, pomegranate, a slight pull from the tannins, and a finish of blueberry.
The pull from the tannins is welcome and proper and the acidity is balanced and gives the wine good length.
