In 1989 Gilbert Gruet, who owned a Champagne House in France, made Traditional Method Bubbly in New Mexico.
By 1999, Gruet sold 1,000,000 bottles of New Mexico Sparkling wine.
25 years down the road, Gilbert has passed on, but his family still runs the show.
