They do specify the length of the aging. and Gérard Bertrand’s website does not mention aging. The addition of oak influence will significantly change the flavor profile of a Rosé. The alcohol content is 13%.
The Hampton Water Rosé 2021 Tasting Notes
The color is Barbie Playhouse pink with a touch of amber. The nose is pretty, crisp, and clean. There are scents of raspberry, pink lemonade, soft candy spice, vanilla cream, black cherry, and spring flowers. The Hampton Water Rosé 2021 is exceptionally well-balanced, with bright fruit, and solid acidity.
This Rosé tastes like tart cherry, vanilla, a short hit of spice, spice drops candy, but not sweet, and tangerine. The mid-palate shows strawberry, a little salty sensation, and tart nectarine.
The acidity is excellent, you will be reaching for another sip without thinking. The French oak smooths the initial flavor of this Rosé and then gives way to tart and spicy sensations.
